Weslei Fabri on site, working on a vaulted ceiling by the water

From the owner

You'll work with me from the first visit to the final walkthrough.

I spent years as the carpenter other companies sent in to finish the job, and I saw what goes wrong when the person who sells a project isn't the person who builds it.

I started Carpenter Bee to answer for the whole job, from the first measurement to the last adjustment.

Before you hire anyone

What homeowners ask us first.

  • Who will be working in my house?

Weslei, the owner. He is on site for every job.

  • Will it look like it was made for my house?

No wall or floor is perfectly straight. We fit every cabinet and cut every piece of trim to your walls on site, so the gaps are even and nothing is covered up with caulk.

  • How long will my house be a mess?

Before we start, we agree on the dates, so you know when we'll be in your home and when we'll be done. If a date changes, we tell you first and explain why.

All questions

Yes. The first visit and a price range cost nothing, and you're under no obligation.

It depends on the job. New baseboard for a whole house, a set of new doors and a room of custom cabinets are priced very differently. After the first visit we give you a realistic range, and before work starts, a written estimate.

It depends on the size of the job and on when the materials arrive. After the first visit we can tell you how long yours will take, and the dates are agreed before work starts. How a project runs.

Wood swells and shrinks with humidity. New cabinets, trim and doors should sit in the house, with the air conditioning running, before they go in, so they adjust to the air they will live in. When we install trim, the corners are cut to fit and glued, so they stay closed through the seasons.
